Non-place: A poem

Eve und ich gestalteten ein gemeinsames Kunstprojekt zu dem Thema Non-Place.
you passed me
like a stranger in a hotel corridor
swallowed by an open door
we don't see eye to eye anymore
like a car on a highway
never meant to stay there anyway
you and me
swallowed by anonymity
once a home
now a non-place
a faded love
an estranged face
when I see you again
you will no longer be there
just your neutral stare into the air
standing across me at the main square
Der Text erzählt von einer Beziehung, die sich langsam auflöst, bis sie nur noch als neutrale Präsenz in einem bedeutungslosen Raum existiert. Ein Ort, der einmal Zuhause war, verliert seine Bedeutung. Genauso wie ein Mensch, der einem einst nah war.
Eve veranschaulichte diesen Wandel in der Collage, die Menschen zu Silhouetten und bekannte Orte zu unerkennbaren Formen macht.
